Note 2 : Many institutions do not provide a complete Master’s in Astronomy course work. Some Physics MSc courses may have a few Astronomy courses.

  4. IIT Indore
  5. Rayat Bahra University
  6. IIST
  7. IISc
  8. Most of the IITs, IISERs, and NISER have MSc Physics course where you may have astronmomy courses and possibility to do the master thesis in A&A.
  9. Some institutes conduct Integrated MSc/MTech-PhD programs. eg; TIFR, IIA, etc.
